Memories to learn from

Every people have some good and some bad memory for every different stage of their lives. Like everyone I too have my fair share of good and bad memory to last till I die. Some will bring a big smile in your face and for some, well!!! You start to think where did it go wrong?? Good or embarrassing we will remember them sometime, somewhere in life. It’s not about the fond memories we are scared to remember but the bad (I would like to call it embarrassing) ones. I don’t know what you all do just avoid recalling them but I just go nuts when it automatically clicks in your mind and you go down the memory lane where everything is not the way you wanted it to be.

Now when I think of all those memories I find it funny and laugh at myself as I have embarrassing moments more than the good ones. My clumsiness might be the main reason for me having so many upsetting moments in my life. But now when I sit and remember all those “embarrassing moments” I don’t have any regrets whatsoever because no matter how much I hated it that time deep down I know all those experiences has made the person that I m. Be it being punished or being failed I had all those experiences and I m happy that it did happen. Happy for the fact that it made me realize the difference between failure and success, good and bad. If not for all those so called “bad things” I wouldn't be the person that I m. There are people who just take the negative things out from their not so good experiences they had and try to run away from it forever due to which they will suffer from a kind of trauma that they can never come out of it unless they face it. The harder you try to avoid something they more you have to face it. Past is past don’t let it ruin your present and your future. If there was something that you hated than instead of avoiding it try to face it. I know that it sounds easier than do be done but it’s better than being traumatized about a thing which happened ages ago for the rest of your life. It’s basically about looking towards the brighter side of everything. No matter how dreadful it might have been, try looking at the brighter side of it. Life is very short to cry over our mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes but only some can learn from it and avoid making the same mistake. So, let’s be in that “some” category than to be in the other one. P.S: One of my embarrassing moments happens to be during my high school. I was caught hanging on a tree (I was wearing a skirt); my teacher was lecturing me while I was hanging on the tree. Later, I was asked to be a hen (again in skirt) for one whole period. What I learnt from that is never climb a tree where it’s obvious for a teacher to come and never wear a skirt while doing so. LOL!!!
